Multiple-Sired Litter : One dam, two sires
Here we are taking the exemplary
female, Casi Vom Schoenfelden, and breeding her to
two studs that have produced exceptional offspring in past litters. All
three dogs are accomplished in the conformation ring and have stable
temperaments.
In the Rudi X Casi offspring we expect exceptional heads
for obvious reasons. Both have produced excellent type and structure in
past offspring. We hope that these puppies will excel in the show ring. Our
female Kelli that was bred to Rudi in 2004 is Casi's aunt, thus we saw the production of a
very similar genetic combination in the "D" litter.
From Draven X Casi we want working level drives . Draven is a high scoring Sch 3 with a lifetime Korung and Casi is out of
the famous Ch. Moritz Vom Moritzberg..the only Sch3 and Dpo 3
Rottweiler ever in the US. The puppies from this combination will
hopefully be well suited in Schutzhund, Ringsport, Obedience, K-9 work etc.
Some people may wonder why we make this type of
breeding?
The answer is simple. We want puppies from both of these
sires. We could easily breed Casi to one stud this litter and the other
next time, but we don't want two entire litters of puppies. We are
currently active in conformation and would like to whelp a good solid
schutzhund prospect so that we can again enjoy this area of the breed.
If Mother Nature were accepting our requests we'd ask for one top notch
conformation prospect and one high drive, hard male from this
breeding... and that would be it.
The American Kennel Club allows for the
registration of litters with more than one sire. This is effective for
litters whelped September 1, 1998 and forward. Parentage must be
determined using the AKC's DNA Certification Program prior to
registration. To date there have been less than 200 of this type
breeding from all dog breeds combined.

Curious about how all this works?
Don't feel alone, most
people are a little confused on Mutli-sired breedings. Give us a call or
email and we'll gladly explain the process.
This breeding was conceived in late April and will whelp in late June. The puppies will
have their shots, de-worming, tail dock, rear dew claw removal,
micro-chip identification, early neurological
stimulation, and
extensive socialization.
This breeding will be known as the "Vom Keiser Wappen F & G litters."
